  DEAR TEACHERS Thank you for making this year so much brighter I am so fortunate that you are my teacher Think about you and so many adjectives come to mind Inspiring, caring, nurturing and oh so kind!   ‘Zzzz,Zzz,Zzz’.. I was sleeping soundly in my bed. Suddenly, I woke up with a sweat. I had the wackiest dream ever. This is how it went. One day my friends, Jiya and Krisha, came over to my house for a playdate. I said to my friends ‘This is getting boring. Let’s have an adventure of our own.’ I told Jiya and Krisha my plan to go to China by foot! It was such a crazy plan but we wanted to have an epic adventure. They immediately agreed. We left our house with a backpack full of the things that we would require on our journey. After walking for many days, we reached the India- China border. ‘How will we pass the border?’ I asked. Krisha had an idea. She was an exceptional makeup artist. We disguised ourselves as trees and crossed the border without any suspicion. We couldn’t believe it; we were now in China!   ALONE One day I was all alone at home To call my parents I didn’t even have a phone So I decided to break some rules That day I skipped the school Wore a pretty dress and went to a mall Went to many places till I finished them all First I played all the games Won all of them without any shame From there I went to an amusement park Even rode those rides where kids were not allowed I was starving so ate an ice cream My day felt like a marvelous dream Returned to home and stayed up late Watched a spooky movie till the change of date Next day when I woke up, my parents were there I hugged them tight without a minute to spare!   MY WISH FOR 2022 Today morning I was thinking about what my wish for 2022 could be What should I hope for that will make me happy? Anaya's class was invited to school to meet the teachers and visit the school premises. It was Anaya's first time in big school. She was very excited and had a great time there.   BOOK REVIEW – THE WITCHES BY ROALD DAHL Roald Dahl is my favourite author. He is a British novelist who is a very famous children’s writer. He has written many bestselling books like Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory etc. I have read many of his books and liked them all but The Witches is an extraordinary book, one of the best I have ever read. It is a fantasy and horror book. This is the book which inspired me to write my own stories. The Witches is about a boy and his grandmother who want to get rid of Witches forever. Especially ‘THE GRAND HIGH WITCH’, The ruler of the witches! The witches want to use their weapon to kill all the children of England. They are hatching a terrifying plan. Who will succeed?
