Unicorns are Real!

Link to previous letter 28/08/22 Darling Anaya, Today you are 9. This is your last year in single digits. How cool is that? I close my eyes and still see a cute tiny human with chubby cheeks. You still have the same sparkle in your eyes albeit with glasses ( 😊 ) You are growing leaps and bounds. You grew so much taller this year. You started your 3 rd grade and gave your first exams. My baby, we are amazed by how funny, loving, kind, helpful, thoughtful, intelligent you are. You are gorgeous inside and out. You see the world in such a special way, we love that. You have so amazing talents. Your love for books is out of this world and your writing is exceptional. And we hope you continue with that. You love learning new facts. Your knowledge and grasping of English language is outstanding. Your logic and arguments amaze us. We love to play ‘For and Against’ game with you. We wish that you will use your logical power to your advantage in future. We hope that you continue to better

  Oh how I love dancing in the rain Join the peacocks and go insane Dance so much till my heart is full Looking around everything is beautiful I would jump high in muddy puddles Strain my clothes and I would be in trouble I would catch the raindrops on my palm Listen to the singing breeze in calm Pitter patter pitter patter the rain would drop I wish this music would never stop Make some paper boats and float it in rain Watch them go and vanish in the lane Clouds in the sky would be dark and black It would be a perfect time to have a hot snack Colourful umbrellas would cover the street All the benches would be too wet to sit With all the rain water, the plant would grow Bathing in the rain, the trees would glow I would wait for the Sun to come out of clouds So I could see a rainbow looking very proud Fragrance of the soil would cover the air You would feel pure joy everywhere! -         ANAYA SHETH
